i haven't quit reading you.
i still visit my favorite peoples. (how can i not?)
but i have quit "following" - because the process is cumbersome. i like to go right to the source to catch up!

This group of photos is unsettling to me. Strong and provocative. They could be simply beautiful but they are more. It is the underpinning of the house that first threw me off. The accidental glimpse of what could be a garden or a crawlspace and the flowers that might be accidental. Of course I am viewing them from my own lens from my own Sunday morning lens. At second look I see a reflection in the window and the single pink flower near the green green house/barn. This is good. This is what art is supposed to do.

ps. The electricity meter also has a menacing look so medical with its wires and gauge which is again offset by the flower as well as the photo of the hose. And below the bicycle that is being overtaken with the creeping vine. Wow.
thank you so much, R King, for your visit and your comments. i feel more comfortable playing with compositions and surprises with my camera than anywhere else (in my whole life), although i am compelled to struggle CONSTANTLY with other artforms. i am glad you see what i do.
