spring is really here now. there are still lots of brown branches and some crusty grass, but lots and lots of bright green, yellow, magenta and white. noisy birds. lace curtains blowing. sweet sweet sweet. i've been outside a lot, walking, but not making that many pictures. the workWalk is rather dull, done for exercise only. and sometimes i just walk hard and fast on the levee, which is also rather dull, but great for doing spanish lessons on my iPod and not looking like a weirdo talking to myself on the street. sometimes i want to walk hard and fast and not have to worry about cars and curbs. it is all working, my jeans don't wanna stay up now. and i can't quite fit into the old beloved ones. and new ones *definitely* aren't in the budget. i guess i will have to get a rope to tie 'em up. but i am not fussing. i am HAPPY about it. i really feel good and have LOTS more energy. which is good, because i have LOTS to do before mid-June.

this day is sort of an anniversary. i've been writing and picturing my life online for 10 years now. that is sort of scary. in a way, i feel like enough is enough. it's not *that* much fun anymore, it is not the odd and extreme thing to do as it was when i started. so many "blogs" now - so many pictures and personal details. i still hate that word blog and won't use it. but still, journaling online seems to be my best way to document a life that is important to me - mine. i just won't do it on paper. and i *do* like to keep track. even though most of the old stuff isn't publicly available anymore (jeez! it was SO awful! massive whining and moaning and selfportraiture!! ack!), i like to go back and recall those times. it is too often a torment, but i'm glad i wrote it all down. and i guess one of the best things is the people i have come to know online. yes, that is the best. so even though i often feel boring now, i'm sticking around.

now it is time to eat and run, then sort and pack, then use up more artStuff ... onward.
