i have not been around my house or my town too much lately. back and forth between my mother's house, my sister's house, Austin ... and all etc. lots of familia things going on. when i am at my house for a bit, i am either - tired, restless, gluing the bits that are all over my artTable into a meaningless book, reading mystery paperbacks or wandering around my town getting exercise and making many pictures of nothing. and applying for jobs, of course. although it is beginning to feel sort of like the lottery. i keep playing and hoping. at least it is not costing me $$.

i have made some photoProjects for myself, using the new Hipstamatic "disposable camera" app. at first it was fun, but now i am OVER it ... i do like to make projects and i like a set of uniform images, but i have been unhappy with the images from the 3 "disposables" i have. one is messed-up color, one has a big fake light leak and one is another kind of messed-up color. poo. i sort of like this yellowish sepia, but not enough to keep using it. it RUINS texas sky.
