what i have been doing while sick and confined.

it wasn't a very bad cold at all, probably the shortest one i have ever had. i wonder if that is because i added cracked black pepper to my diet? or gave up most wheatStuffs? in the past year, i think those are the only nutritional changes i have really made and this was my first cold in almost 2 years and it was very small. so yay.

but it was nice to have an excuse to hole up in soft clothes and furBoots for 4 days and eat soup and read lots of books. but i became restless and somehow encountered a large burst of creative energy. i started building palaces again. and making new pieces with them. they are pretty fine, i think. i am reconstructing lots of old pieces that just didn't work. i like doing that, re-use. i feel compelled to keep minimizing and don't like to buy new art materials, so i just use what i have until it gone. then i think of something else to make with what is left. the only supplies i ever seen to need are UHU gluestick, golden soft gel matte (yum) and inkjet printer ink.

since i have moved to this artCabin, i now have a decent body of framed work ready to show and sell. now i have to do the hard part with that... unh. i haven't seen *anywhere* here that it would fit. and now i am in the process of completing a decent body of small work that i am going to re-open my Etsy store with, hopefully in the next week or so. it will be pretty loudly announced. um. and i'm also changing the name of my studio and web presence. oh boy.
